Out on the town

Here is a sparkly two-piece sleeveless shell and jacket set for that special occasion. I love the flared “cuffs” with bows on the arms! Makes me feel special and Oo so feminine. Pair this with nice dressy black pants and high leather boots for a total feel-good outfit. The black onyx necklace finishes it off!
I'm ready to head downtown to dinner and a play...........

Belting a Scarf

I'm so proud of this purchase - I got this gray top for $5! {and the crowd goes wild} I just love all the details of this shirt and clothes are so much more fun when they are a bargain! It has rhinestones on the chest and then gathering on the side and buttons on the sleeves - so many cute details! I swear I can't wear a regular t shirt anymore - it has to have some cute design or embellishment.

This is my first time belting a scarf - I'm not sure I love it but its always fun to try something new!
What do you think? :)

Angora & Argyle

So I love this sweater. I wore it to a Golf Outing in the middle of summer because of the argyle (I was trying to channel some Caddyshack)  on it and I was sweating like crazy - see its an Angora sweater... i.e. terrible choice for the summer. So here I am all nice and warm in the winter... like its supposed to be, (someday I'll learn how to dress for the season, lol.) I matched the green of the argyle with a lace top underneath and I found this green purse around the store. That is one of the awesome perks of working at a clothing boutique - you can find something just perfect for your outfit at any moment and it's an amazing feeling.

Layering 101

So what better way is there to stay warm in the winter than to layer your clothes (or just stay inside all winter - or better yet move to Florida... ohhh la la)
But anyways, here we have an example of how to layer something you might wear in the summer and something in the winter.
Hooray for utilizing summer clothes in the winter! Otherwise they sit there all lonely and unloved until the summer comes... poor babies. So here is a short sleeved shirt layered over a long sleeve... and tada
So stay warm kiddies... cuz burrrrrrr its cold

Sun is shining

The sun is shining today and it almost feels like spring... right until you step outside. But I know spring is coming soon (am I jinxing it if I say that?)

So here is my shirt that mixes brown and a turquoiseish  blue (soon you'll find that I love ( i really mean live for) turquoise.) I like this shirt because the vertical stripes are flattering (yay!) and I always like square neck tops. I matched the earrings and my ring (as you can see I blew it up like mega-huge.)

A Pop And A Statement

So when my mom went to pick out this outfit she said she needed "a pop of color." You know those days... when you know you just need color to spice up your day.  Its funny how a bright colored outfit can really make you feel just fantastic. So here we have a beautiful blue to match the gorgeous blue eyes of my mother (if only I had gotten those baby blues.... oh, well.) And of course a "Statement Necklace." I'm not sure what the statement here is - other than I'm Fabulous!. Although - what else is there to say? :)
