New Feature! Drawn Inspirations!

So I've always loved the idea of planning your outfits ahead of time. It makes it so much easier to pick out what you want to wear and to test out what it would look like without running around your closet like a mad man trying things on - even though I still do that on a regular basis. But anywho, for the longest time (like 6 months maybe) I've wanted notebook - basically it gives you a naked girl to draw outfit ideas on... however I can't stomach buying it just for a naked girl in a notebook, so I've decided to draw my own girl and outfit ideas AND to share them with you! Why not right? So here are two ideas so you can see what to expect and soon you'll see what the outfits look like when they come together in real life.
So yay! for new blog features and saving $!!
So this is basically self explanatory - I wore this outfit today and will post pictures soon!
Ladies I know its a little early for capris - especially white ones but I just bought them and you know how it goes - I wanna wear them like NOW! :)

Military & Floral Combo

I saw in a catalog once a military jacket and a floral skirt and loved the look. I like the idea of mixing something tough with something feminine. So here is my closest to military style jacket I own and a pretty tiered floral skirt I love to wear. Plus black and red is one of my favorite combos to wear. I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Gray Flowers in March

So this scarf is probably 10 years old, I got it a looong time ago. Back in 1992 that was a really smart purchase because look its still in style today! Its a pin stripe scarf and you can't see but my skirt is also pin stripe - next time I'll skooch closer to the camera and show ya. Happy Friday Lovelies!

A Secret Between Us

This is a fun outfit to wear. I don't wear too many animal prints but I bought this tank awhile ago and I like the length see how its flares on the sides - fun. Paired with the lace I thought it really worked well. Its fun because its long sleeve but lace sleeves so I don't die from heat exhaustion in the store. I'm wearing leggings but I'll be honest- I didn't leave the house like this - I'm just not ready for the whole leggings in public thing- yet. We'll see. But it looks good here, so lets pretend this is exactly what I wore to work today. Ok? ;)

New & New to me

So I must apologize to you lovely ladies for my delay in recent posting. I promise to be better in the future! So here we have a color I don't wear too often but I do enjoy wearing - Brown. It matches my hair so thats always fun (Power to the Brunettes!). I have never worn this vest - isn't that just sad - I've had it for probably a year now. But it has just sat there in my closet because I never knew what to pair it with. Its a khaki and white striped vest and low cut so I had to wear something under it. So today I paired it with this adorable little pale pink, brown and khaki skirt. Also never worn. This skirt has pockets - I LOVE that! I think its a nice fresh and subtle outfit- not usually what I go to but its always fun to try something new!
